For Colds with Slight Feverish Headache

Sweet Ginger tea

Choose old, stringy ginger root and golden rock sugar from a Chinese markert for this soothing tea.

6-7 slices old ginger root
green tea
rock sugar
3 cups (850ml) water

wash the ginger root and cut 6-7 slices about 1/8in (3mm) thick across the grain. Put the ginger root and green tea into a teapot. Bring the water to a boil pour into the pot and add the rock sugar. Stir briefly then cover the pot. Let sit for 2-3 minutes before drinking.
